Vietnam’s latest jobs report showed that the popular software firm Adobe has suffered its biggest monthly loss in almost six years.
Adobe’s share price has plummeted by more than 25 per cent over the past 12 months.
The company reported an 11 per cent drop in net profits.
While the company’s losses in the past six months have been relatively small, they represent a 10 per cent increase in the company since its peak in 2013.
The report said the latest decline in net profit was due to the impact of the US presidential election and the continuing impact of climate change on the industry.
The recession that began in 2007 is expected to continue, according to the report.
The Vietnamese government has been encouraging companies to hire more foreign workers.
This year, the government is also encouraging businesses to cut back on spending on technology to reduce carbon emissions.
